172 (1)
Officers of this Class, other than educational
officers who receive the benefit of school vacations and
members of the Police Force, may be granted full pay leave
as follows:-

Officers whose annual salary exceeds $420 but
does not exceed £200 or $1400, and officers with
less than ten years' service, may be granted full
pay leave not exceeding seven days in respect of
any one numerical year. Such leave may be accumu- lated provided that the officer's absence on full pay leave may not ordinarily exceed a total of twenty-eight days on any one occasion.
Officers whose annual salary exceeds £200 or
1400, and who have served ten years or more may
be granted full pay leave not exceeding fourteen
days in respect of any one numerical year. Such
leave may be accumulated provided that the
officer's absence on full pay leave may not ordina-
rily exceed a total of fifty-six days on any one
occasion.
Officers whose salary exceeds £200 or $1400, and
who have served twenty years or more, may be grant-
ed full pay leave not exceeding thirty days in
respect of any one numerical year. Such leave may be accumulated provided that the officer's
absence on full pay leave may not ordinarily
exceed a total of ninety days on any one occasion.
Educational officers of this Class who receive the
benefit of school vacations are not ordinarily entitled to full
pay leave.
They may, however, in special circumstances and
